FICKLE FRIENDS

Frenemies can be referred as a friend and who is simultaneously an enemy or a competitor. Based on Fickle Friends written by Kirsten Weir, basically the article argued on frenemies and what's the point of keeping them instead of break the friendships?

Have you ever experienced when both of you are planning to hang out together, suddenly there is a unexpected reason when one of you called and said it's need to be cancelled, suddenly you just saw him or her in the shopping mall with others? I bet you are wondering whether she or he is a good friend to be with while your heart is crushing into pieces. If it happens at me, I would certainly mad and crave for something to eat in order to control my anger. This is my own way to prevent from the broken friendship .

The next situation is, have you ever experienced when your friends talk behind you or backstabbing you? In front of us they will treat us nicely, but behind of us they will talk badly. This is what I called as backstabber or pretenemy. Based on the article, it's stated that there are two types of frenemies which is overly competitive ; the pal who is a pillar of supporting when times are tough , but cannot take pleasure in your successes . The next one is, the college buddy that is ; always be by your side when you need one but gossips about you later . As for me, if I got this types of friends I would stay calm and try to be pretender as him or her. I prefer to be a good pretender rather than a wicked uncivilized hypocrites, because sometimes we need to pretend for a good forsake, and I'm very sure there will be a reward for a patience one.

Eventhough there are some arguments in this article which is "if such friends make us unhappy, why do we keep them?" However, In a 2009 study Holt-Lunstad and graduate student Briahna Bugelow Bushman have concluded that "you may not give up on your frenemies if you know how to manage it and start with controlling your own behavior and being the kind of friend you'd want others to be."

The conclusion is, try to be the best for everyone is the sweetest thing to do because an evergreen memory is the sweetest memory to recall when we are getting older. The simplest way to describe is to do the good thing is the result  for the future .
